Introduction

Saungpokki is an innovative and creative EdTech online learning platform powered by ILBC, designed for everyone passionate about education and language proficiency.

Courses Offered

There are One-to-One Course and One-to-Many Course in the Face-to-Face category.

One-to-One Course

The One-to-One course caters to individuals aged 7 and above seeking direct and personalized language instruction. This course comprises two modules, each spanning two and a half months. The learner needs to complete both modules in order to advance to the next level.

Both learners and teachers are required to activate their cameras in the online classroom, ensuring a seamless, effective, and comfortable teaching and learning experience. A culture of interaction is fostered, with learners encouraged to pose questions, and the teacher's undivided attention is devoted to the success of our One-to-One Course.

One-to-One Course - Local Teachers

Learners can enroll in our One-to-One Course for language learning with well-trained local teachers. Enjoy Face-to-Face sessions with one or more teachers in two modules, each lasting two and a half months. Completing both modules advances you to the next level.

One-to-One Course - Expat Teachers

Learners can enroll in our One-to-One Course for language learning with well-trained local teachers and professional expat teachers. The course includes two modules, each lasting two and a half months. Completing both modules advances you to the next level.

One-to-Many Course

The One-to-Many course is tailored for individuals aged 7 and above who are enthusiastic about language learning effectively. It is designed for those who enjoy socializing and wish to engage in Face-to-Face learning with both the teachers and classmates. Each classroom will accommodate 25 learners. The course consists of two modules, each lasting two and a half months. Completion of both modules is necessary to advance to the next level. Both learners and teachers must activate their cameras in the online classroom. Class activities encompass individual work, pair activities, and group tasks that foster interaction, teamwork, and provide an opportunity to learn from fellow learners. The One-to-Many Course encourages a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.

One-to-Many Course - Local Teachers

Our well-trained local teachers will guide you to proficiency in the language, and learners may learn from one or more teachers in the class.

Eligibility

Learners aged 7 years and above can use our platform with flexible learning hours. They can earn a certificate upon completing both Module 1 and Module 2 in just 5 months. Each module consists of 90 hours. For each module, learners can choose their preferred timetable from the options below:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am to 9:30 am

Account Registration

Account Creation

Learners need to have their own Gmail account to join their preferred classes on Saungpokki.

Learners must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. This includes, but is not limited to, full name, age, contact information, and any other details required by the platform.

By registering, users confirm that they are at least 10 years old.

Account Security

Learners are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including username and password.

Learners agree to notify Saungpokki immediately of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.

Account Use

Each account is personal to the registered learner and should not be shared with others.

Learners agree to use the platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Terms of Use.

Any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity may be grounds for termination of the account at Saungpokki's sole discretion.

Information Accuracy

Learners agree to provide and maintain accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and while using the platform.

Saungpokki reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, inaccurate, or incomplete information.

Changes to Account Information

Learners may update their account information at any time through the account settings feature on the platform.

It is the learner's responsibility to ensure that their account information is up-to-date and accurate.

Termination of Account

Saungpokki reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of the Terms of Use.

Class Changes

Learners can change to another suitable class or choose a different class timetable within 7 days of attending the class for only one time.

Payment and Refund Policy

All course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.

We accept AYA Pay, KBZ Pay, Master/Visa or MPU as indicated on our platform.

Once a course fee has been paid, it is non-refundable for any reason, including class changes.

Code of Conduct

Expected Behavior of Learners

Full attention must be given to the teacher’s explanations.

Lively participation in activities within the class is necessary.

Homework must be completed within the specified time and submitted during that time.

Learners must not perform any activity which could disturb the teaching environment.

Learners must not play games, carry out Private Chatting or leave the desk without the permission of the teacher during class hours.

Camera and Microphones must not be opened or closed without the teacher’s permission.

Learners must treat teachers and platform staff with respect and courtesy.

Learners should attend classes on time and be prepared for each session.

Active participation in classes is encouraged, and learners should complete all assigned tasks and homework.

Learners must use appropriate language and behavior at all times on the platform.

Any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.

Expected Behavior of Teachers

Teachers must treat learners and staff with respect and professionalism.

Teachers should prepare and deliver lessons on time and ensure they are engaging and educational.

Teachers must provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all learners.

Appropriate language and behavior are required at all times, and teachers should avoid any form of favoritism or bias.

Teachers must comply with all platform policies and guidelines.

Consequences of Violating the Code of Conduct

For Learners

First Offense: A warning will be issued, and the learner may be required to make amends.

Second Offense: Temporary suspension from the platform or specific classes.

Third Offense: Permanent expulsion from the platform. Giving a refund after termination will depend on the Saungpokki management team.

For Teachers

First Offense: A warning will be issued, and the teacher may be required to undergo additional training or supervision.

Second Offense: Temporary suspension from teaching duties on the platform.

Third Offense: Termination of employment or contract with the platform.

Tardiness Policy

Teachers, learners and supporting personnel attending at the Saungpokki must ensure that they are not late. Tardiness will have a devastating effect on the whole learning environment.

Attendance Policy

The attendance in the Saungpokki will be considered in the required attendance of 75 percent in their teaching for one module. If not, the learner will not be allowed to take the examination and will not be allowed to attend the next module or higher class.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of Content

All content provided on the Saungpokki platform, including but not limited to course materials, videos, texts, graphics, software, and interactive features, is the property of Saungpokki.

Learners do not acquire any ownership rights to the content accessed through the platform.

Use of Platform Materials

Learners are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Learners may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or perform the content except as expressly permitted by Saungpokki.

Guidelines for Users

Learners agree to abide by all copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws when using the platform.

Learners may not upload, share, or distribute content that violates intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrighted materials or trademarks owned by others.

Prohibited Activities

Learners must not engage in any activity that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of Saungpokki or third parties.

Learners must not use the platform to distribute or promote pirated or unauthorized copies of copyrighted materials.

Enforcement

Saungpokki reserves the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

Saungpokki may remove or disable access to any content that violates intellectual property rights without prior notice.

Changes to Terms

Saungpokki reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time.

Significant changes to the Terms of Use will be communicated to learners through email or by posting a notice on the platform.

Minor changes may be implemented without explicit notification but will be reflected in the updated version of the Terms of Use available on the platform.

Users are encouraged to review the Terms of Use periodically to stay informed about any changes or updates.

Continued use of the Saungpokki platform after changes to the Terms of Use constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We will support technical issues for every learner from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Starting from July 1, 2024, the commencement date of the classes, we will support you from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on weekdays and from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon on weekends. We will provide support exclusively online.
